Using the eLibraries Manitoba (eLM) is easy! If you need help, here's a quick guided tour created by OverDrive, the company that provides downloadable service for us and many other libraries. The guide walks you through the basics, from getting started to downloading to burning to a CD. In just a few minutes, even the newest user can be enjoying a downloaded title.
As the guide is not library specific, here are some specific policies which do apply to eLM:
You may have a maximum of 5 titles checked out from the Digital Library.
Downloaded titles are checked out for 14 days and are automatically returned to the library.
The eLibraries Manitoba (eLM) does not currently offer movies or music downloads (we may offer this in the future).
If you have any questions about downloadables after you view the tutorial, ask a library staff member or click on "Support" for more assistance.
